Our voice is an inspiring life force of our being and one of the honest mirrors of our inner life.

Human voice is astonishing.

Voice can move us, bring tears, or heal broken heart. It can charm, seduce, enrage, or bring trust and love. The sound of voice can bring memories, feelings, thoughts and emotions.
It has a big potential to destroy or create.
Our voice is not only a tool to express and connect to the world but has also interesting positive effects on our body, our hormones, and our nervous system. So not only singing is fun, but also healthy!
Singing improves lung capacity and better posture. It reduces stress and increases focus. When we sing the brain is on high alert, with both the right and left hemispheres activated. Dopamine, the hormone of mood-booster is produced, which helps to improve mood and alleviates anxiety. Singing boosts your immune system and helps to reduce the levels of inflammation in your body.
Today most people are not aware of how important their voice is, and the power of sound in their life. As a society and community, we've lost the healing art of singing together and storytelling and with that a connection to each other.
Lesson Approach
The goal of voice training is to learn and embody reflex breathing, master the balance of tone support and improve muscular movements of the larynx to allow voice free path. For that, we need to prepare all the muscles, which are involved in the process of singing so they can follow our intentions. Vocal production should be done without any rough force. Strong breath pressure and tension of larynx muscles will be compensated by our vocal folds.
 Breath
Breath is a motor and power of our voice. If the breath has length, widt and depth, the voice gets its power. That’s why the breath is so important to start with. Every activity of our life depends on breathing. It is a key to balance, focus and wisdom. If we breathe consciously and we focus our thoughts with the rhythm of the breath, we get powerful energy for creativity, inspiration and change.

Breath - Rhythm
Rhythm is the foundation of breath and it is an endless balance between tension/action and relaxation/surrender. When we allow these two opposite forces to coordinate and harmonize, we establish eutonus, a condition that is not over-relaxed, but also not over-tense. While singing several physiological functional systems are working at the same time: intention behind singing, the will to express yourself, breathing, activity in the larynx, shaping laryngeal space, articulation, facial expression, etc. The coordination of all these functional systems is thriving the best in rhythm.

Breath - Rhythm - Body - Intention
After we establish rhythm and eutonus, focus and our reflex sensitivity get stronger. To find our intention focus, we can use our senses - touch, sight, hearing, smell and taste. Intention to speak or sing activates the muscle tension of the respiratory system, which leads to reflex inhaling and sound production.
